Coding and Filing
As a Coding and Filing Specialist, you will be a vital part of the team!

Appointment scheduling
Keeping an organized calendar is beneficial because it allows the staff to see how well time is managed.
Performing lab tests
Medical assistants are responsible for collecting samples for laboratory testing. They draw blood under doctor's orders and process samples.
Assisting physicians
An MA will get the patient ready for testing, treatment, and procedures that the doctor may perform.
Performing clinical duties
A medical assistant obtains a medical history by asking patients questions about their medical conditions, medications and allergies.
